CNP Virtual Summit Series 2020
With the 2020 CNP Summit, and several other upcoming industry events, being officially postponed (see official announcement), Card Not Present is working hard to bring you much of the content we had planned for the 2020 CNP Summit in a virtual format over the coming weeks through our CNP Virtual Summit Series.
The CNP Virtual Summit Series will include...
- Merchant-only Meet-Ups (Each Tuesday at 2PM ET)
- Educational Sessions (Each Wednesday at 2PM ET)
- Virtual Solutions Hall
Virtual Merchant-Only Meet-Ups
Our Merchant-Only Meet-Ups will be facilitated by fraud & payments expert Karisse Hendrick and held each Tuesday from 2PM - 3PM ET (11AM PT) beginning April 14. These meet-ups are designed to allow our merchants to experience the collaborative spirit of our CNP Summit "Fireside Chats" in a virtual format. All participants are rigorously vetted to ensure that only merchants are present. This will enable merchants to feel secure expressing their specific challenges and–most importantly–gain actionable insights from other merchants who have tackled similar issues. This is truly some of the best CNP Summit has to offer; a place where merchants can learn what really works, what doesn't, and what threats are emerging right now and in the months ahead.
The individual topics will cover:
- User-Generated Content Abuse
- fake reviews
- inappropriate postings
- cyber-bullying, etc.
- Payment Acceptance & Optimization
- Women in CNP Fraud & Payments
- Chargeback Strategy & Management
- Digital Goods Merchant Fraud Issues
- Physical Goods Merchant Fraud Issues
*Please Note: Media will not be permitted to participate in the Virtual Merchant-Only Meet-Ups, in order to maintain confidentiality and security in these conversations.
Virtual Educational Series
Our Virtual Education Series, facilitated by Card Not Present Editor-in-Chief DJ Murphy, will feature expert panelists discussing specific fraud, payments and risk management challenges we all need to look out for this year. The Virtual Summit Series sessions will be held each Wednesday from 2 - 3PM ET (11AM PT) beginning April 8 and feature experts from our pool of merchant panelists and speakers, as well as our community of solution providers & consultants. If you can't make all of these, just sign up anyway and we will let you know when the rebroadcasts are available so you can consume the content at your leisure.

A Statement from Reed Exhibitions: CNP SUMMIT™ 2020 (San Francisco, May 19-21) POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 VIRUS
March 19, 2020, 11:30 AM ET
After extensive internal and external consultation and monitoring of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, we have made the necessary decision to postpone CNP Summit™, which was scheduled to take place at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco, May 19-21. We will continue to monitor the situation closely across our US and global Reed Exhibitions resources and will provide updates on future dates as soon as we have them.
To help serve the market in these challenging times, CNP will soon roll out plans for a CNP Virtual Summit Series. This series is designed to arm fraud fighters, payment experts and risk management professionals with education and actionable strategies, and to provide solution providers with valuable lead generation and engagement opportunities. CardNotPresent.com will continue its focus on quality content and you can expect expanded online content resources throughout the months ahead.
We recognize how essential business continuity is for the e-commerce and digital fraud prevention and payments industry and its customers. It is our top priority to provide the means to stay connected and engaged with the digital fraud and payments community, which will have heightened activity and risk management urgencies to solve during this very challenging time.
Commenting on the announcement, Will Wise, Group VP - Reed Exhibitions, said, “This was an important and necessary decision focused on the priority for public safety and health of all of our customers, and the challenging business dynamic and restrictions in the United States. We are committed to serving the market and supporting customers and the community in the months ahead.”
For any further questions regarding the postponement of the CNP Summit, please contact your main Reed Exhibitions Show Management contact or our Customer Service line directly at (800) 731-6106 or (203) 840-5664.
