Loren has over a decade of payments experience, including previous roles at Braintree, Worldpay, and Bluesnap. From local brick-and-mortar shops to the largest enterprise companies in the world, Loren has worked on nearly every use case in payments. Loren grew up in Florida and eventually made his way to San Francisco, where he is now an Account Executive at Bolt. When heís not educating himself or a business on how money moves around the web, you can find him at the dog park or on various adventures around the Bay Area.
Rob Simpson, Previously at Cashstar, now Head of Risk at Bolt
Rob previously spent five years at CashStar, a leading provider of digital gift card solutions. While at CashStar, he specialized in developing auditing procedures to help reduce fraud losses while maintaining an industry-leading approval rate. Through that experience, he built the first internal risk team, headed risk product development, and dominated the ping pong circuit. Rob now leads the Risk team at Bolt, where he brings his expertise from managing risks on e-gifts, plastic gift cards, and stored value cards for brands like Nordstrom, Starbucks, Uber, Best Buy, and The Home Depot.
DJ Murphy, Editor-in-Chief, Card Not Present®
As editor-in-chief of Card Not Present®, D.J. Murphy has day-to-day control of the editorial content on CNP websites and serves as the publication’s main reporter and writer. He brings more than 15 years of media and corporate experience to the company.
